FEE SCHEDULE
Our belief
We believe that we should receive the fees according to the amount of substantially professional work. For instance, our professional fees are not calculated just based on the numbers of classes (Nice) as for trademark matters. No additional fees are necessary just by adding classes. For designs, our professional fee for the second design is not necessary under certain conditions. As described above, our fees were set flexibly so that the clients can easily use our services.
Our fee schedule for typical services is as follows.
Trademark services
- Filing an application
- If you apply for more than one tradmarks at the same time and the desiganted goods and services are the same, our professional fee for each of the additional trademarks is JPY20,000.

*Our professional fees can vary depending on the amount of our work, i.e., the number of the goods and services. No additional professional fees are necessary just by adding classes. This service includes a brief trademark search to find trademarks that are identical or obviously similar to your mark.
- Paying a registration fee

*If you wish to pay in installments, official fee of JPY17,200 per class and professional fee of JPY25,000 is necessary. In this case, the same fee has to be paid in 5 years’ time if you wish to maintain the trademark right. No additional professional fees are necessary by adding classes.
- Search at least JPY35,000
- Our professional fees can vary depending on the number and type of the goods and services. No additional fees are necessary just by adding classes. We provide our comments on what measures you can adopt based on the search.
- NAMING SUPPORTING at least JPY70,000
- This service helps you with adopting names. You can receive a brief legal and non-legal (marketing) report on multiple trademark candidates. For details, please click here.
- JPY70,000 (for three marks) + JPY15,000 per additional mark
- The above fees depend on the number and type of the goods and services.
No additional fees are necessary just by adding classes.

- Filing an application
- If you apply for two designs at the same time and the articles (products) of the designs are the same, our professional fee for the second design is not necessary. This makes you try claiming the broad scope of protection and reasonable one without costing you a lot.

The professional fee is necessary per procedure of paying. If you wish us to pay for 1st to 3rd fees at the same time, for instance, the total fee is JPY 50,500 (Professional fee JPY25,000+Official fee JPY25,500).
- Filing a request for Exception to lack of novelty at least JPY80,000
- *The above professional fee includes the fees for proving the design disclosure. This fee can vary depending on the actual work. For your information, the grace period is 1 year from the date of disclosure.
